Newly released poetry book endorsed by Alexander McCall smith, the famous Scottish  author of "The No. 1 Ladies' detective agency" and more than 100 others said 'With its wide rage, this collection really does offer the reader a poem for every occasion- and for every mood. The poet's voice is playful and full of character, the tone positive. And the exquisite paintings so beautifully released add to the joy of this book.

Diane Johnson, American Authoress of Le Divorce, Lorna Mott comes home and 9 other books says "Everyone will love Marie-Louise's quirky, funny, universal poems and her beautiful paintings."

Malaysian born Scot, Roddy Martine, author of Secrets of Rosslyn and Edinburgh military tattoo and 6 others says" A subtle yearning for a gentler, kinder world underlies the poetry of Marie-Louise Brulatour Mills. Combined with the pastel colours of her paintings, the sensitivity and wit she employs in her words creates a landscape full of light and hope and humour. Happiness is so often evasive but you must always, always be optimistic. I found this book a compelling and delightful read"

This 144 page poetry book will delight and excite its readers.

Matches U.K. remake of Slim Aarons Photographs                                                      40 years on

The late Slim Aarons, an iconic American fashion photographer photographed me in 1981 for Town & Country Magazine. This 6 page spread photographed in Montecatini, Terme, was the inspiration for Matches UK to duplicate this 40 years later. I flew from my new home in Edinburgh to Italy to pose for this remake. However this time it was March not September. The weather was freezing but I put on a bathing suit as goosebumps erupted. The German Fashion photographer Dylan Don and his staff worked tirelessly to defrost my body between each shot with the use of hairdryers! Dylan Don like Slim Arons before him was an inspiration using my musical preferences like Strauss Waltzes to propel me to glide down Montecatini's inner colonnade for photographs and a video. As my Family live in Rome where I brought them I up I decided to stay a few days extra to visit. Lockdown happened and I was stuck in Rome without being able to see my children. Here is where I started to write poetry as I had no watercolour equipment. Turn lemons into lemonade!
