One Women Play to be presented at The Edinburgh Fringe 2026

A childhood. A transatlantic move. A hijacking. A ghost walk through the Eternal

City. Mushrooms that move. A painting that isn’t there. Certainty slips, faulters and

alters, particularly after a phone call.

Fault lines open. Stability gives way. Memory shifts. Fragments refuse to resolve.

Each narrative unsettles what we think we know. Fierce, strange, and darkly funny,

these stories fracture and track the instinct to survive as reality slips underfoot.

Created by Greyhound Indigo Productions, an Edinburgh-based team

committed to bold character-driven storytelling that centred on women’s voices and

lived experience. Run by Marie-Louise Brulatour Mills, an artist, art historian, prize-

winning painter, writer and poet. A perpetual wanderer and one-time

internationally-ranked equestrian champion, and journalist who long believed that

life could be revised, if not mastered. In the unruly manuscript of her life, something

sharper emerges- unsettling, precise and impossible to contain.

With the Pandemic many proposed exhibitions have been cancelled. As this lockdown time has allowed me to write short stories and poetry I have been pleased that one of my poems 'End of Lockdown' was exhibited at the National Portrait gallery of Edinburgh.
